Equipment

We predominately use the Panasonic AJ-HDX-900P High Definition video camera. This camera is a 100 mbps camera with a 2/3” chip and is capable of all frame rates, including 1080i.

In addition Gamut owns and operates 2 JVC digital video cameras, the JVC-DV-500, and the GY-100a HDV camera, which is capable of 720 p at 24 and 30 fps. Both cameras have internal focusing Canon 18x lenses, matte boxes, numerous 4x4 filters and rain covers. In addition, we have an analogue Sony D-30 SP wide-screen camera and a Panasonic HVX200 for use in bad environments.

We have a full production package to complement all the cameras, including wireless, shotgun and lavaliere microphones, mixer, an extensive lighting kit, and all the support equipment you would expect from a full-service production company.
